Even with the cooler weather, the beauty of Spring is arriving in full force here in Southwestern Virginia.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, vivid blue skies and emerging colors let us know that, hopefully, a rough winter is behind us.

Morning lows brought some freeze this part week but the temperature this morning was in the 40s and the high today will venture into the 60s and rain, it appears, will stay away until tonight or tomorrow.

Weather forecasters say the coming weekend looks good.

Time to enjoy and celebrate.
