Several questions from readers over what they see as a lack of photos in The Floyd Press from me of Spring sports at Floyd County High School this year.

With weather delays and schedule conflicts, I have not been able to attend and photograph as many sporting events since the basketball state tournament in Richmond more than a month ago.

Fortunately, Floyd has a number of parents who fill in and catch good photos of the events.  I’m sorry but there the resources at the Press are sometimes limited and there is a lot going on in the area.

The school’s boys soccer team is winning, including a first-time ever defeat of powerhouse Radford, and the young athletes provide good visuals.

I hope to make more events in May, including a big track meet.
