Main issues as seen and discussed by Floyd County Republican Sheriff’s candidates Brian Craig and Doug Weddle at a candidate’s forum on May 7 sponsored by the Tea Party at the Jesse Peterman Library in Floyd.
The answers we not edited and are presented for informational purposes for voters who will make the decision on Saturday, May 16.
Similar presentations with two of the three candidates for Commonwealth’s Attorney, will be presented on Wednesday and more videos will also appear on Thursday along with a wrap-up on Friday.

Thanks for posting these. I agree with Weddle that knowing the public/community relations with the public is key, but Craig knows most of the under 30 population and already has developed that relationship with them. I also don’t know about Weddle’s “controlled deliveries” from Fed-Ex and UPS. It sounds like a waste of man hours to me unless the sheriff’s office has some hot tip, and a search warrant seems more reasonable in cases like that to me. Thanks to both men for caring enough about Floyd County to run for office.
