Withdrawal

It's been more than a month of Sundays now since I've been able to find a NASCAR race on the tube. No races until next month when the new season kicks off in Daytona. Withdrawal time for a racing fan. While the traditionalist in me laments the commercialization of stock car racing, the motorhead takes over and yearns for the sound of unmuffled V-8 engines roaring around the high banks of Daytona.

A month to go. Don’t know if I can make it. Maybe I need a 12-step withdrawal program from racing.
