Second weekend of October is upon us and there is lots to do in the music and arts scene in and around Floyd County.

The varsity football team at Floyd County High School is on a much-needed “bye” week Friday after the Radford Bobcats creamed the Buffaloes 58-8 Wednesday night in a road game delayed  by rain from last Friday.  The game leaves Floyd 1-4 overall and 0-1 in district play.

So head for the music and other events this weekend.
