
High school football homecoming kicks off the weekend as the Floyd County High School Buffaloes face Eastern Montgomery at a 7:00 pm kickoff and crowning of the homecoming queen at halftime.
Temperatures are expected to dip into the 40s during the game so dress warmly. Lows in Floyd County are expected to dip to 38 Friday night and then into freezing territory at 30 overnight Saturday and 29 in the wee hours of Monday morning.
