The Floyd Radio Show and a Sunday afternoon parade honoring veterans highlights the second weekend of November.
Like the Friday Night Jamboree, the once-monthly radio show on the state of The Floyd Country Store is a gathering that draws interest domestically and internationally and is broadcast over the Internet from the country store’s web site. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Veteran’s Day parade gives all of us a chance to remember and honor those who wore the uniform and served their country. The parade begins in downtown Floyd at 3:00 PM Sunday.
