Floyd County’s Buffaloes went down to Gate City in the second day of the Chance Harman Classic at Floyd County High School Friday before a packed house and a host of activities to the charity tournament that keeps growing.
Jard Spence accounted for five of the Buffaloes’ seven three-point shots and Floyd led by a point after three quarters. John Reed Barnes of Gate City scored 23 points and downed a key foul shot with just 30.1 seconds left in the game. Blake Hairston scored 13 points for the Buffs.
The two-day event packed the gym. More photos and Roger Mannon’s story in the next issue of the Floyd Press.
