Anna Roberts-Gevalt and Elizabeth Leprelle, original hosts of the Floyd Radio Show, said goodbye to the monthly event they have hosted for the past five years at The Floyd Country Store Saturday night.

A capacity crowd gave the due a standing ovation and many stuck around for the after show party to offer best wishes.

Heather Krantz, who now owns the Country Store with husband Dylan Locke, recommended the pair to then-owner Woody Crenshaw as hosts of the first radio show in 2011 and they remains as hosts and faces of the the show until this year’s fifth season.

They will continue as a duo and she radio show, broadcast over the Internet on the first Saturday of each month, will return in the fall after its normal summer recess with guest hosts for the sixth season.
