Looking for some good comic books?

Like comic books?  Collect them?  Then the Salem Civic Center is the place to be Saturday, August 20th, for the 19th Virginia Vintage Comics and Collectibles Show.

Roger and Nancy Mannon of Floyd started the show in 1998 and it has become premier event for vintage and collectible comic book fanciers.

“We are the only show dedicated to old comic books,” says Roger Mannon.

Doors open at 10 am at the Civic Center at 1001 Roanoke Blvd. in Salem and the show runs through 5 pm.

While some vintage comics go for high prices, “you can still find thousands of old comics at our show for only a few dollars.”

Admission is $3 with 12 and under free.
