September 2016 wraps up Friday, giving the area a cool but pleasant weekend in the forecast for the beginning of October.

Singers, musicians and entertainers Anna Roberts-Gevalt and Elizabeth Laprelle, former hosts of The Floyd Radio Show, return to the stage of the Country Store Thursday night for a show and concert helps kick off the weekend at 7:30 p.m. and the weekend also brings the annual Women’s Club Arts and Crafts Show at Floyd County High School Saturday and Sunday.
