Floyd County High School’s middle school volleyball team scored another impressive win Thursday night at home, stomping Radford 25-5 in the first match and completing the sweep of the Bobcats 25-11 in the second.
The middle schoolers have dominated opposing teams this season. At one point, the Lady Buffaloes led 19-1 in the opening game and while Radford played a little tougher in the second match Floyd pulled away and doubled the the final score by the end.
The varsity Lady Buffs won as well: 25-19, 25-16, 25-16. Not sure of the JV game, I had to leave after the first match for another assignment and the Lady Buffs lost the opening round 25-23 after battling back from a deficit to a tie towards the end.
