Spring-like weather appears to be winding down for more Autumn-like as we head into the first weekend of November with a sunny Friday, Saturday and Sunday with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the 60s.
Friday brings an end to the regular high school football season as the Floyd County High School Buffaloes face Glenvar at home along with Senior Night that begins at 6:30 p.m. and the game at 7 p.m.
The First Saturday of the month also brings the Floyd Radio Show at the Country Store, featuring Bill & the Belles as guest hosts and a strong lineup of music and skits.
Veterans will be honored on Sunday with the Veterans Parade in Floyd on Main Street.
