Black Friday, the annual shopping carnival, descends of us today with many stores opening at the crack of dawn (and some that opened Thursday) bringing crowds, mayhem and retail raunchy rowdy romps.
For Floyd, the weekend after Thanksgiving brings the annual Christmas parade to downtown on Sunday, starting at 3 p.m.
Some of us avoid the madness called Black Friday. Others wait for Cyber Monday when sales dominate online shopping and the Internet slows to a crawl from data overload.
The Christmas season is upon us. Be careful out there.
