After the JV Lady Buffaloes stomped Glenvar 41-9, the Floyd Varsity ran into stiff competition that stalled their game in the first quarter and trailed 7-5 in the first quarter but got on track in the second to take the lead in the first 20 seconds of the second and started pulling away, leading 38-12 at the half.

In the JV game, the Lady Buffs set the pace early, leading Glenvar 17-4 at the end of the first quarter and 26-8 at the half.  Glenvar didn’t score in the 3rd quarter but Floyd did, extending the lead to 35-8 and Glenvar only added one point in the final quarter.
