Heading into the third weekend of January with a Friday with rain in the morning hours and a high projected at 60 for the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday show rain with temperatures in the 50s and possibly early 60s so it is a good weekend to catch some entertainment, arts and more in and around Floyd.
No home games at Floyd County High School Friday night as the Lady Buffaloes venture over to Auburn High in Riner while the male Buffaloes Varsity heads to Rockbridge High School for a Boys Varsity Invitational Match.
The Friday Night Jamboree features Katie & the Bubbatones at 7:30 p.m. and The Tune Town Old String Band at 9. Josh x 2 kicks off with the gospel hour at 6:30.
The Earl White String Band plays Saturday night at the Country Store.
Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul appear at The Floyd Center for the Arts Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
