According to the National Weather Service, the chances for precipitation are 100 percent Saturday and Sunday and the projecting thunderstorms today are expected to drench us.

This video clip of stock footage and local shots, produced some time back, tried to capture the Spring storms of area at about this time of the year then. It seems to work as well now and was also available on a weekend when I’m trying to catch up on projects delayed by crashing Thursday night (literally, not figuratively) and being out of pocket all day Friday.

We need a period of long soaking rains but it remains to be seen if the storms forecasted today and Sunday will serve that need.
