Don’t be fooled by the rain not falling this morning.  More of the wet stuff returns later in the morning and will continue to soak the area throughout the rest of the day as the deluge that has drenched Floyd County and Southwestern Virginia continues.

Someone, it appears, has pissed off Mother Nature big time and she urinating the region big time.

More showers arrive Thursday, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Blacksburg,and there could be a brief — very brief — respite Friday before thunderstorms dominate the forecasts for Saturday and Sunday before drier weather (hopefully) returns for Memorial Day on Monday and into next week.
