For old-time music and bluegrass fans, The Old Time Fiddler’s Convention continues in Galax this week and wraps up the hoopla with a Saturday night that will extend into the wee hours of Sunday morning.
Cooler nights signal the approaching end of summer and students hit the books this week as school began in Floyd County and other areas of Virginia and the nation.
Lots to do for those looking for fun, music and more in a weekend.
