Duck Race, Little River cleanup, Chili Cook off, Miss Floyd County pageant and more for this last weekend of August 2017 and the warm up to Labor Day just a little over a week from now.
This weekend also features football and golf matches for Floyd County High School. Floyd’s varsity Buffaloes take on Christiansburg at the stadium at the season opener against Christiansburg at 7 p.m. Friday while the boys varsity and JV golf teams match up against Blacksburg at Great Oaks Country Club, starting at 2 p.m. Thursday.
