Buffs open season with 18-0 win

Presley Yates racked up 196 yards and scored the second of two touchdowns for the winning FCHS Buffaloes.

After a scoreless first half marked by mistakes from both the Floyd County High School Buffaloes and the Christiansburg Blue Demons, the home team came alive with Presley Yates running for 196 yards and one touchdown and Jarrett Agee added a second rushing touchdown and 118 yards, giving Floyd an 18-0 win.

A sack of Christiansburg quarterback Nick Cook by Corey Voss and Cole Web in the end zone added two more points and runs by Floyd QB Ian Bary added runs for extra points.
