Rubber ducks in the water

Ok duckies, time to hit the water.

The annual rubber duck race on Little River by Thunderstruck Road hit the water Saturday afternoon as they were ceremoniously dumped into the drink off the Slusher Store bridge to head down the river towards the finish.

As they drifted towards the finish line in what could be a “photo finish,” the spectators included two real ducks who watched the events with some bemusement and were probably wondering if it was time to move.

More photos and info in the next edition of The Floyd Press.
