A National Weather Service alert this morning warns of fog in some parts of the area but the sun is shining outside our house.

The weather is still cool as this is written.  The thermometer sits in the mid-50s and might climb up to the lower 70s today what looks like a good night for Floyd County High School’s football homecoming.

The forecast says cloudy but don’t tell that to the sun that bathes the area in a nice glow on this Friday morning.

Clouds did return to the area in the afternoon but the forecast looks good for Friday night’s football game and for Saturday’s Breakfast at the Market, the VW buses at Chantilly Farms and other events scheduled for weekend.
