Fall (Autumn) is upon us as Floyd County and the surrounding areas head into the season of leaf colors, events and more. On the high school football front, the Floyd County High School varsity football Buffaloes put their unbeaten record on the line against Giles Friday in a game at 7 p.m. at the home stadium.
The Ignite Floyd Concert to benefit Station 1 of The Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Cross Creek Complex on 221 South of Floyd. Citizens Telephone Cooperative hosts its annual yard sale and music abounds at The Floyd County Store and Dogtown along with the Artisians Market on Friday evening and the Farmers Market on Saturday. Busy weekend coming up.
