Floyd County High School’s Varsity Buffaloes rebounded from last week’s first loss of the season with 28 unanswered points against the Carroll County Cavaliers in Hillsville Friday night with quarterback Ian Bary scoring rushing for 99 yards, including scores with dashes of 48 and 28 of them.

Jarrett Agee added a 48-yard touchdown run and Presley Yates scampered for 18 yards for another TD.  The win gives the Buffaloes a 5-1 overall record with a 1-1 district match up for the first six games of the year.

The 28-0 win is the third shutout by the Buffaloes this season as the defense held Carroll County to just 142 yards and Dylan Rodriquez sacked the Cavaliers quarterback three times.

Radford comes to Floyd next Friday for a critical season game.
