Floyd County High School’s Buffaloes celebrated Senior Night and the last home game of the regular season Friday night with a 45-0 pounding of James River’s Knights, giving the team a shot at a home game in the playoffs with a 7-2 overall , 3-2 district record so far as they head to Allegheny County next week.

Jarrett Agee scored two touchdowns and ran 226 yards in eight carries while Presley Yates piled up 114 yards and one TD with 14 caries and quarterback Ian Bary scored the first two touchdowns of the runaway game and ran 73 yards with five carries.

The Buffaloes led 24-0 with three touchdowns and a field goal from Gonzalo Lopez at halftime, added another touchdown in the third quarter and two more in the final period.

A win against Allegheny in the regular season finale next week could help the Buffs secure a home playoff spot.
