November is upon us, with cooler weather and fewer hours of daylight but still a schedule with much to do on the weekends.
Floyd County High School’s varsity football Buffaloes end the regular season on the road against Allegheny High way up the road. A win should give the Buffs a home playoff game in the regional playoffs.
It’s the first Friday of the month so the artists will gather at the First Artists Association gallery Friday on South Locust Street to show off their work and host a reception.
Friday also means the Friday Night Jamboree and, weather permitting, music on the streets.
Oh, and don’t forget that this is the end of Daylight Savings Time at 2 am. Sunday so set you clocks back one hour before going to bed.
