Finally, a weekend with reasonably decent weather could mean a nice weekend to enjoy music, the arts and more in the Floyd County area.
Much-needed rain is forecast, along with a high Thursday that could reach 50 and one on Friday that might touch 60 but temperatures will plunge Friday night to just below freezing with a high Saturday of 31 and low of 13 heading into Sunday with a high of 29 and low again of 13.
Compared to the frigid two weeks that preceded this week, even those temperatures seem downright balmy so enjoy weekend activities.
