The Floyd County basketball Buffaloes and Lady Buffs move into the second found of regional Virginia High School League play Tuesday night.

The ladies beat James River (for the fourth time this season) and the guys took out Chatham in convincing fashion last Friday night in the Regional openers.

The Lady Buffs continue to have the home advantage when they take on Fort Chiswell at 6 p.m. in the FCHS gym while the boys travel down to Pittsylvania County to Dan River High School to face, of course, Dan River, also at 6 p.m.

Whether to drive the shorter distance to see the ladies at home or the two-hour drive or so down to Dan River, fans of the teams will take the journey.

Winners of tonight’s games advance to Thursday matches.
