A winding road, a good motorcycle and a great day. (Photo from a previous year)

Had one of our motorcycles out Saturday for a while, taking Amy’s Can-Am for a tour of Floyd County roads while running some errands.

Thankfully, a front trunk of that hybrid three-wheeler holds a large bag of cat food, a couple of two-liter jugs of soda and foodstuffs without any problem.

Approaching rain followed as I wheeled the machine into the garage shortly after 6:30 p.m.

After overnight storms, I and the bike will head out again for a nice Sunday ride and a better chance to limber up sore muscles from this prolonged battle with some lingering issues of age and past accidents.

Time to ride and this is a rare one, since rain is forecast Monday and Tuesday with snow expected Wednesday, followed by freezing temperatures for the rest of the week.  The next decent riding day is forecast for a week from now.

And, yes, Spring arrives along with the snow.

Mother Nature is a bitch.
