The Daily Stormer the white supremacist website that endorses much of what Donald John Trump does in his daily assault on American values, took to the Internet the day after fellow racist Corey Stewart became the GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate to say this:
We are in charge now. The jig is up. This is the party of TRUMP the SAVIOR OF KOREA and DESTROYER OF CANADA. We’re also not tearing down anymore statues.
You rushed that, Jews. You rushed it way too hard. Everyone knows that Thomas Jefferson and George Washington owned slaves, and everyone saw your next move as you try to pull apart America piece by piece. No dice. We are picking up the remaining pieces and rebuilding America as a WHITE FREEDOM COUNTRY.
But this is still very important as it shows that the conservatives in Virginia would prefer a RIDE OR DIE candidate supporting our great Confederate heroes rather than some Paul Ryanesque scumsucking shitscum.
Thankfully, most people won’t see The Daily Stormer. Web tracking service Alexa ranks the website 5,597th in the U.S. and 13,137th around the world.
As with most articles that appear on The Daily Stormer, the piece praising Corey Stewart came from Andrew Anlgin, founder and editor.
Anglin’s hate has found it hard to stay on the web. As Talia Lavin notes in The New Yorker:
Since this past August, the Daily Stormer, a prime hub for neo-Nazism on the Web, has found itself in a peculiar kind of digital exile. Its journey began in the wake of the “Unite the Right” rally, in Charlottesville, Virginia, at which a young woman named Heather Heyer was murdered by a man who drove a car into a crowd of anti-racist protesters. The following day, Andrew Anglin, the Daily Stormer’s founder, published an article about Heyer titled “Woman Killed in Road Rage Incident was a Fat, Childless 32-Year-Old Slut.” Hours later, GoDaddy, one of the Web’s largest domain registrars, announced that it was cancelling the Daily Stormer’s service. Several other U.S.-based companies, including Google, Namecheap, and Cloudflare, soon followed suit.
In the ensuing four months, the site bounced around the world, with brief stays at top-level domains representing various countries—.ru (Russia), .al (Albania), .at (Austria), .is (Iceland), .ws (Western Samoa). During the tumultuous period surrounding 2017’s independence referendum in Catalonia, the Daily Stormer took advantage of a .cat domain; five days later, the site was banished to obscurity once again, eventually resurfacing at a .ai domain, in Anguilla. Then, last month, the neo-Nazis apparently found their promised land. After being ousted from its .hk domain by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation, the site resurfaced at a new, non-geographical domain: .red.
Apparently, outlived his welcome there. He now resides at .name domain.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has this to say about Anglin:
Andrew Anglin is the founder of the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website, which aptly takes its name from the gutter Nazi propaganda sheet known as Der Stürmer. True to that vintage, Anglin is infamous for the crudity of his language and his thinking, a contrast to his sophistication as a prolific Internet troll and serial harasser.
Styled after popular image-heavy Internet forums like 4chan and 8chan, the Daily Stormer is dedicated to spreading anti-Semitism, neo-Nazism, and white nationalism, primarily through guttural hyperbole and epithet-laden stories about topics like alleged Jewish world control and black-on-white crime.
In other words, the hate that Trump spreads as president and echoed by Stewart.
The Stormer notes that Stewart has little or no chance of beating Virginia favorite son Tim Kaine, former governor of Virginia and current senator from the Old Dominion.
Trump disagrees. In congratulating Stewart, the tweeter-in-chief posted this on Twitter:
Congratulations to Corey Stewart for his great victory for Senator from Virginia. Now he runs against a total stiff, Tim Kaine, who is weak on crime and borders, and wants to raise your taxes through the roof. Don’t underestimate Corey, a major chance of winning!
Of course, Trump endorsed fellow sexual-abuser Roy Moore who, like Trump, was charge with having sex with an underage teenager girl years ago and — also like Trump — got away with it.
Moore, a Republican state and GOP-dominated Alabama, went down in political flames on election night to a Democrat. Other questionable Republicans touted by Trump suffered similar fates in recent elections.
