Reflections on FloydFest-18 Wild

FloydFest in 2018. Back when I had the energy to photograph such events.

FloydFest-18 Wild goes into its fourth day Saturday with sunny weather and temperatures flirting with the low 80s — a good omen in a festival that began with a rain storm Wednesday.

Nighttime rains have not dampened the spirits of the annual event on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Floyd-Patrick County line.  Campers and festival fans report a good time.

Music fans wait for music to start at the Dreaming Creek stage.
