Labor Day Weekend in and around Floyd County. Yoga Jam at 5555 Indian Valley Road just outside of Willis runs from Thursday through Monday with music, events and more from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Labor Day Weekend is also the massive Carroll County Gun Show and Flea Market that turns Hillsville into a mob scene with traffic jams, hundreds of booths filling open spaces while gun lovers flock to the VFW building.
The Small Town Summer Series hosts a Honky Tonk Dance Party at Lineberry Park from 6 p.m. to 10:30.
Of course, regular weekend events like the Friday Night Jamboree, the Artisans Market, The Farmers Market and more.
Plus, the Floyd County High School kicks off its home varsity football season Friday at 7 p.m. with a match against Patrick County.
Scattered thunderstorms and hot weather also top the forecasts.
