In Virginia Senate, Kaine declared winner

With 41.49 percent of the voe counted in the Virginia Senate race, WTOP in Washington declared incumbent Democrat Tim Kaine winner.

Kaine holds a 6.42 percent margin with 516,396 votes while Corey Stewart trails with 452,992.

Projections by the radio station show Kaine will finish the counting on top.

In Floyd County, Stewart leads 52-45 percent over Kaine, which is normal but it not to expected to change the statewide outlook.
