Temperature already above 50 degrees on this Sunday morning and the National Weather Service office in Blacksburg projects a high in the mid 60s when the annual Floyd Christmas Parade begins at 3 p.m.

Enjoy the day and the parade.  Monday could be nice as well, with a high of 53 but then Mama Nature gets bitchy and sends the thermometer down to 32 overnight with a high of just 37 on Tuesday, then cooler at 34 Wednesday and the 30s mostly for the next several days.

And, yes, the forecast calls for snow on Saturday and snow showers again on Sunday of next week.
