Families of fallen veterans from Southwestern Virginia, along with politicians and current members of our armed services, gathered at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Dublin Monday to honor those who paid the ultimate price for service to our nation.

Del. Nick Rush, a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, spoke to the group before wreaths from various elected officials and groups were laid.

A day to remember…and honor.
