A full June moon rises over the treetops along Sandy Flats Road in Floyd County. The moon greeted me after I drove home Tuesday night from the annual meeting at The Jacksonville Center and it was something to see. According to those who know, the moon appears closer than normal this time of year. I'll take their word for it and just enjoy the June moon.
