FloydFest 19 began its five-day run of music, vendors and events just off the Blue Ridge Parkway just across the county line into Patrick County. Shuttle buses are running from Floyd and from parking areas around the event and Mother Nature appears to be in a good mood with cooler and less humid weather and little chance of rain.
For those who want some fan and music and more closer to home, this final weekend offers many events in and around Floyd, including the Friday Night Jamboree, music at Wildwood Farms General Store and at venues like Buffalo Mountain Brewery. Don’t forget the Artesian Market on Friday night and the Farmers Market on Friday.
