A full season of The Floyd Radio Show kicks off Saturday night at The Floyd Country Store, The Floyd Americana Music Festival entertains in Lineberry Park Saturday afternoon, while music hits the stage at High Noon for Hope, in memory of Joshua Cantrell at Triple J Palace on Black Ridge Road.
The first full weekend of September brings music, art and more to the area along with cooler overnight lows and mid-range humidity with a cautious eye towards Hurricane Dorian as it chugs towards Georgia and the Carolinas.
The National Weather Service office in Blacksburg’s current forecast between Wednesday and the weekend shows sunny, then cloudy on Thursday and Friday, then sunny Saturday and Sunday with chances of rain at 10% on most days. That, of course, can change.
