Floyd County High School’s Lady Buffaloes volleyball team knocked off unbeaten Christiansburg Wednesday night at home and faces Patrick County tonight, also at home, as an unbeaten squad.
Two of the three Dalton sisters on the team turned in highlight performances to win 25-16, 25-19, 25-16 with Kenzee Dalton posting 15 assists, four kills and four aces while Haylee Dalton had eight digs and seven kills. Madison Ramey added 11 digs in the win for the 3-0 Lady Buffs.
All three of the volleyball teams — Middle School, JV and Varsity — take on Patrick County in games that begin at 4:30 p.m. in the FCHS gym.
With two games on the schedule this week, I selected the Patrick Game to photography tonight. Photos with this article came from the season opener at home last week. Photos and story should be in the next edition of The Floyd Press.
See you at the game.
