Floyd County Lady Buffs unbeaten with sweep of Cougars

Floyd County High School’s volleyball teams wiped out Patrick County Thursday night in a home sweep that leaves both the varsity and junior varsity squads unbeaten with 4-0 records.

In the varsity closer, the Lady Buffs downed the Cougars 25-11, 25-19 and 25-9 with Kenzee Dalton knocking down 15 kills and four aces while her twin sister Jaycee posted 10 kills and six aces and Olivia Hylton added three blocks and three kills.

The varsity goes against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring) in a tournament pairing at Patrick Henry High School Saturday at 7:00 PM and joins the JV and Middle School Lady Buffs on the road Tuesday in Ford Chiswell against the Pioneers.
