Hard work…and that’s no bull

All hooves off the ground but the rider stays on.

Bull riding returned to the Floyd County Fair this year with two riders scoring points and most others hitting the dust.

Several events in rodeo are dangerous but riding bulls is the most fearsome to life and limb of the rider and most exciting to watch for attendees of rodeos.

The three photos here are part of several more shot Saturday at the end of The Floyd County Fair.  More photos and the story in the next edition of The Floyd Press.

As the rider hits the dust, the bullfighters move in to keep the animal away from inflicting further damage.
