Good news, bad news night for the Lady Buffaloes Varsity and JV volleyball teams Thursday night in home matches against the Carroll County Cavaliers.

In the varsity match on a night recognizing the courage of those who fight against cancer, Haylee Dalton recorded 14 kills while sister Kenzee Dalton dished out 19 assists and Jaycee Dalton added seven kills, as the Buffaloes (14-3, 5-2) swept the visiting Cavaliers (10-4, 4-1).

The varsity Lady Buffs scored 25-17, 25-23, 25-23 wins over the Lady Cavs.

But the Lady Cavaliers broke the unbeaten string of wins by the Lady Buffaloes in the JV matches, 2-1.  The Lady Buffs won the opening match, but dropped the second one that went down to the wire and then faded in the third and final one.
