A Floyd County School bus driver with three years on the road carrying students is in New River Valley Jail today, charged with what sheriff’s authorities will only call a “drug related offense.”

Jodie Fernandez Perez has been on the school payroll since 2007 but was suspended without pay Friday after the drug arrest.
