If it’s Saturday, it must be snow. For the second Saturday in a row we woke up to the white stuff falling. While yesterday’s snowfall didn’t approach the deluge from the week before, it did leave 3-4 inches at Chateau Thompson, providing a snowy view from our front-yard gazezo (above) or nature’s decoration on the branches (right). The temp read 9.1 degrees when I got up and will barely reach 32 according to the forecasts, meaning the snow may not melt much today but the roads are clear, more or less, and the Daytona 500 is on the tube this afternoon, so we will curl up in front of the fire and watch the good old boys (or what’s left of them) bash each other on the track for 200 laps.
