I’m going to remodel Muse over the next few days. It’s long overdue and a chance to get away from the sameness that seems to inflict too many blogs on the Internet.
Blogging has become too much “me too,” inflicted with a generic sameness that is boring visually and too often cluttered with a tiresome verbiage that talks a lot but says little.
If you look at most blogs they fall pretty much into two or three column formats with the main stuff in the center and the usual links along the side (recent posts, about me, etc.). That’s not creative. It’s cookie cutter and I’m tired of cookie cutter. So I’m getting out my chainsaw and doing some hacking, pruning and rearranging.
Might work. Might not. If it doesn’t I’ll just shut the damn thing down and go fishing.
