Decent weather but colder times ahead

Looks like a partly cloudy day with a projected temperature high of 40 for this Christmas Eve and a cloudy Christmas morning with a sunny afternoon and a high a bit warmer at 44. Then mostly sunny for Wednesday, the day after, when many head for after Christmas sales and return things they don’t want.

Her husband

Yes, Virginia, there is a Christmas

A longtime friend says she just can’t get into the “Christmas Spirit” this year. She points to the chaos in Washington, a record year of mass shootings in our nation,, the overwhelming cases of sexual harassment that have ended careers of politicians and celebrities and business leaders and a general feeling that the world as

With Christmas arriving on Monday this is the final weekend before.  For some, the final scramble to get Christmas gifts.  For others, a brief chance to relax before the madness of the big day. With Christmas Eve falling on Sunday, many of the music events normally scheduled for that day are cancelled.  No Sunday music
